there's a class in a school bus. there are 20 children in the bus. each kid has 5 cats with it. each cat has 5 flees on it. how many legs are there in the bus?

how many legs does a flee have?

20x2 legs
100x4 legs
500x6 legs

40+400+3000= 3440.

unless there is a bus driver, but you never implied there was.

it's 3442 sputnik  :thumbsup: but i count it correct since you mentioned the busdriver, what is the clue of the riddle (many forget him)

here's a riddle that looks like one that sven posted somewhere in the beginning:
there are three guys in a prison. they sit in a row behind eachother
person A can't see the others. person B can see person A, and person C both persons A and B
there are 3 white hats and 2 black ones. randomly 3 of them are place on the persons (so the other 2 won't participate in the game)
one of them must say the colour of his hat in one minute to get their freedom. if they fail, all of them will be shot (so be sure)
after 59 seconds of silence person A gives the correct answer. what is the answer and why?

B B W - if the person in the back (C) would understand he's wearing a white, since there are no blacks left, and he would shout white if this was the case.

B W W/B W B - The person in the middle knows that if he's wearing a black, person C would shout. When he notices he doesn't, person B understands he's wearing a white and would therefore shout.

W W W / W B W / W B B - The person C doesn't know whether he's wearing a black or a white hat and the same with person B, since there are both black and white hats to spare.. Though, person A sees the problem and realizes that the only way both B and C don't know their colour, is if he himself is wearing a white hat.

So person A must have a white hat.

Yes, you're right sput. But I came to the same result, so I can assure you that it is true
That was a great riddle, Sander, if I hadn't known the one I posted, I wouldn't know how to solve this one.
