Chelsea and Liverpool have been stronger than United and Arsenal in the champions league in the last 7 years. But English teams need to step up big time when it comes to CL if they want to have a chance.

thats what everyone said about the barca arsenal CL final but up until lehmann got sent off we dominated. Real is good but on their day no one can touch arsnenal

Lehman got sent off in the 18th minute. According to your statement, Arsenal got outplayed for the next 72+ minutes. Nothing to brag about.

Barca struggled for about 60 minutes to score against a 10 man Arsenal. I think they broke through in the 80th minute. Sure, they completely dominated chances and possesion, but against a 10 man inexpirienced Arsenal. And also, one of the few subsitution errors Wenger made, not bringing on Reyes to help out Henry. And Henry missed 2 clear chances...shame but it wasn't as bad as people think. I'm not saying Milan will lose. But if you go at them, like Celtic has been doing, there is a chance.

someone said madrid would cream us. critics said the same about the arsenal barca final. my point is that we didnt get creamed and i dint say anything about being outplayed. barca scored thier goals in the 76th and 81st min. you forget that we were winning till then with ten men against the supposed best team in the world at the time. Arsenal did nothing wrong and any arsenal fan would tell you that though we lost we were very proud of our team.
Thierry Henry leaving Arsenal was one of the saddest days of my life....

Arsenal did well to get to the final, and they played well in the final as well.

BUT... PLEASE... would all you Arsenal fans stop talking about your team like you are a Reading that just made the Champions League final. FFS have some respect for your team and stop speaking like it's inferior to any of the top teams. Arsenal is a top team and you not getting dominated by Barcelona should not be an achievement. Maybe Barca was the favorite because they played so damn well that whole year, but you still had a chance to win. I never thought you would get killed that game.

Even this year, when you are at the top of the most competitive league in the world, drawn against Milan who is sitting in 12th place in the Serie A... you are still talking like you are the big underdog. Stop saying shit like that. You are not really the underdog. Have some confidence rather than looking at things negatively just because you have young players and Milan has a bunch of 30 year old slow cunts. You can still beat them if your team doesn't shit itself, and any team can do that on any occasion.

What I'm trying to say is that Arsenal fans and people in general need to stop speaking about Arsenal like they are nothing. They are not an under-dog... they are at the top of the Premiership and cleaned house in the Champions League group.

That's what i'm talkin about Adi. Top of the Premier League. There are 4 trophies to be won, and I can see Arsenal getting at least 2.

Honestly, if Celtic can go against Milan, hell if low level Serie A teams keep getting results against Milan, we should be able to win.

It's true, I hear a lot of Arsenal fans saying, oh it's going to be tough cause we have a lot of young inexperienced players.. and it's always that excuse, and then after the game they act like they had no doubt.

On the other hand, you act like having young and inexpirienced players is a good thing when you go up against a team with seasoned veterans. Look at it from both sides; expirience helps a shit load, but confidence and talent (and being top of the EPL) can outweigh that.

Milan players play like possessed men in the Champions league. I doubt it will be easy.
