I don't see Chechnya all over the newspapers. Russia and the west are doing a good job keeping a tight lid on its war crimes down there. I really don't care to be honest.

I don't know...this can't bpde well because in the last 50 years or so, whenever the international balance is upset, something will happen to eventually bring it back again, often through the combined efforts of the UN, or through revolution, etc.

Russia shouldn't be doing this, but I can guarantee that they're feeling threatened by China and India, and they always have felt threatened by the USA, so they're trying to assert the remnants of their power. Stuff like this (war/weaponry related) tends to be Russia's solution to everything...at least in the past 80 years or so.

Stupid Russians. Like that land is worth the trouble. They have plenty of shit land. They have started doing some good things over there but this is just a step back. They are privatizing most of the government controlled businesses. They should be working harder on continuing that trend rather than taking over other little poor countries.

Stupid ass Russians. The Georgian president (prime minister) or whatever the hell he is was spot on with his statement. Russia needs to get the fuck out of there. Leave those people alone. I'm glad the cameras caught them beating those men well after they were handcuffed. If this escalates into anything more than this then those two countries are an even bigger joke than I initially thought. They need to calm the fuck down. What was said in that news story is not enough to start a war.
