Real turn down Chelsea's 'ridiculous' Robinho bid

Real Madrid have turned down a bid for their Brazilian striker Robinho from English Premier League side Chelsea, the Spanish press reported on Saturday.

The Spanish champions sent a fax to Chelsea telling them that the Brazilian international was 'not for sale', according to sports dailies As and Marca.

Chelsea confirmed Thursday they had made an offer without giving details of the bid, reported to be just over 25 million euros (37.5 million dollars).

But according to Marca, Real bosses consider the offer 'too low, not to say ridiculous'.

They pretty much said they'd be willing to give up Robinho for Ronaldo. Which means to Robinho that he isn't really that cared for in the club. In reality, I wouldn't want Ronaldo taking Robinho's spot. Robinho is a pure class act for Madrid, they are stupid to have wanted to give him away. I hope he goes to Chelsea to bring something extra to the premierleague though.

He should really be on Arsenal though; I think he's over Wenger's age limit :down:

I'm stating the fact that he doesn't pass when he should, holds on to the ball for too long sometimes over doing it and shoots in very unlikely situations. I have not said he is a horrible player I consider him one of England's best players. No need to get your panties wet just because I criticized the part of his game hes lacking in at the moment. I'm sure Chelsea fans will agree with me he can do much better. I remember menya times hes cost us because he tried to do too much or just didn't pass its frustrating for a fan. But I can see you have other agendas.
