Your Views on Future Gaming

What do you think it's going to be like? When do you think the next system will come out? What will be the newest features? What features do you want to see?

I think in at tops 10 years, we will have near to reality graphics and physics, likely to have more complex handling of the game other than a gamepad or a mouse. Tbh we have the capability to make extremely real graphics etc, but the power needed to render them smoothly on the spot would cost A LOT more than your average console like the 360 and ps3 and I'm not sure if we have the technology anyway, the amount of power, would probably be really high and dangerous temperatures and stuff.

A really cool thing would be to have a wireless console. Just like computers have wireless keyboards and stuff.

No no no, like Oli said, wireless console, but you play it on the TV. My friend's 360 shutdown and he had to unplug so many wires and HDTV wires and shit just to get the console by itself, plus the wires are a hassle and take up so much space,.. if the console had like a very high voltage battery that would be awesome.

lol yeah b ut it would rweally suck if you were on a mad level on your fave game that took you ages to get up to, and then the console battery runs out lol that would suck

for me i reckon future consoles are gonna be heaps more expensive, and it would be good to see a console with like 1-3 wires and not heaps like borg mentioned. And imagine if the games would be really realistic, like they would actually look real, i think that would take the fun out of gaming, you would be actually killing people in games and it would look real, i dont wanna see that shit lol

Well, obviously there would be an option of using the normal adapters and video plugins.

i say within 7 years its going to be the xbox 720...double the excite of xbox 360 in every way

in 70 years, people are going to game by putting a little chip into their brains and playing the game in their mind but against other real-life people

by then other technology will be advanced most probably fibre optic cables for every house hold appliance and over time each new technology becomes really cheap.

also if graphics are too realistic it would most probably damage your eyes and anus.

most things have been done anyway 3D glasses on the master system, wireless control pad on the atari 2600, motion cencored control pads (the power glove for the NES)

which have all been improved over the years and have become more advanced so i would imagine that it would carry on in that direction.
