PES 2009 VS FIFA 09
« on: Aug 01, 2008, 02:31: PM »
well fifa won last year in the next gen consoles but in 09 i think pes has it.

fifa's 'be a pro' mode has been extended to four seasons

PES's new mode 'become a legend' (clear copy) has infinte seasons and you can switch clubs and even play for your national team.

PES has a lot more new boots and messi is in the cover

FIFA has a new collion detection system and better traping.

the first pes trailer

NR=1

no fifa trailer yet

wat you guys think?

Pes 2009 for me

After 06 I have moved on to PES and never looked back. I don't plan on going back.

PES has always been better than FIFA
Fx blesses himself before a patw combo, Tiernan blesses himself before a neck to sole transition.... but hey thats next generation
I was going to be there...but now I'm not going to be there

I have only owned FIFA.  I played a PES a long time ago (may have been like 2005 or something) and it sucked to me.  FIFA was superior.  Maybe they've improved.  I'd play it if I knew someone who had it but I don't so I'm sticking with FIFA simply because I don't want to risk the money

To be honest, I've never played PES, so it'd be unfair for me to judge, but FIFA was never that bad for me. Gameplay was alright, and the graphics were amazing lately.

I'm back.

amzing?

in 08 i could recognize javier zennati from inter.

in pes you can tell every player from a mile out, and gameplay is much better, more realistic.

fifa are just bringing in refs into the game in 09.

Oh yeah there is more freedom in PES in everything you do, Fifa some how seems restricted I can predict what route the players are able to take in certain situations after some time. PES the players collide into each other, you can see the referee, the players receive treatment on the side line, the ball hits players who are not involved in the play, you get booked for off the ball incidents after wards when the advantage is played by the referee, some times when players score and celebrate than everyone notices the lines man with the offside flag up and the goal is disallowed also you can see players getting stretchered off the pitch or trying to get back on the field. They have always been miles ahead of Fifa when it comes to realism.

Yeah I recommend it trust me its hard during the transition stage since I was a loyal Fifa fan but once I got used to Pro Evo I couldn't go back.
