Yeah a good MLS player, but people expected a phenom. Other than publicity, do you think it was worth the trade?

hell no.

Beckham has the best cross in recent memory. Thats his value. A player who can put the ball wherever he wants whenever he wants is worth $...no matter what else is wrong with him.

yeah that's a good point. but originally, the americans who don't know a whole lot expected the 20+ goal seasons, the fancy dangles, the flash etc. But does anyone see any promise from in the future or is it his decline?
