Oh i saw a Video , of this guyin the 1940s who was doing some show and he was doing , : atw and head stall, however maradona took it globaly

hard to say,, the first one that made a freestyle vid with lowercombos was Sofiane Touzani,,,

But Mr Woo and Abdullah started before him nad other juggling artist for sure also.... but the man who started to make it popular and known was Sofiane Touzani

Its difficult to tell who was really the one who was the first freestyler .. But Maradona is the first to motivate people to do tricks with the ball :biggrin: Then Touzani invented new thing and the rest of the story i think you know... :rockit:

circus performers don't count as freestylers.  those have been around for literally HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of years.  plus, there's a reason why we call this FOOTBALL freestyle.  yes there are some similar, even same tricks.  but the two are separate in my eyes.

the first person to do half time shows and really showcase football tricks to the world as something more than just juggling practice... was maradona.  but again, he was a footballer and not a freestyler.  i don't even think he used the term freestyle ever.

the first person to take it to the next level and actually make freestyle what it is today, was Mr. Woo.  he was the first.
