remember we are still without several major players. Liverpool scored once and defended the whole game even tho Chelsea was in a bad shape. And still we manage to stay top of the ladder. When Drogba, Ballack and Essien return do you think Chelsea can be stopped.
It's not like United aren't missing some key players. Scholes, Carrick, Hargreaves, Ronaldo, van der sar ... have all been or are injured this season.
Anyways, I don't see Liverpool winning the PL. They rode thier luck on few occasions and have looked better this year but I feel come Jan/Feb we'll see Chelsea and United battleing for the title once again.
As far as Arsenal goes, I can't stand how Wenger always whines after a defeat how the opposition didn't want to play, was too physical, defended with 10 men bla bla bla. Well, no shit motherfeucker! The fact is that there are teams who due to their limited talent adopted a more physical aproach to the game, no news flash there. Instead him trying to learn from his defetas he just bitches all the time.
After the Stoke game Wenger said that they played with 10 men in their final third for the whole 90 minutes. Well, I have to say i didn't see the goals but they must have been some cracking 90 yeard shots! How else does a team who spent 90 min's in their own half score two goals on the opposite end?
I'm not defending the teams that "refuse to play", but I'm just saying he needs to learn how to deal with it and get a plan B in case the opposition are playing hard defensive football. Just like Chelsea, United and all the other "big" teams who tend to actually play attacking football did ages ago.
