Milan - No Olympics for Kaka
Playmaker cannot take part in Olympic Games, say Italian giants

Milan are continuing to insist that Kaka will not take part in next month's Olympic Games with Brazil.

The Serie A giants previously stated they would not give the 26-year-old World Footballer of the Year the green light to play in China.

And they have now issued a statement reiterating their position following reports from Brazil.

A statement on the club's official website said: "Following news coming out of Brazil on the participation of Kaka at the Olympics, Milan reiterates its position of not allowing the player to join the Brazilian Olympic team."

Kaka, Ronaldinho, Tevez are all out of the Olympics. Aguero, Messi, Riquelme are in!

Those are some good players for argentina playing.  They've always got high quality youth coming out of there as well as Holland.  Should be some good games.  I like La Cote d'Ivoire also.  Does anyone know if Chelsea is letting Drogba and Kalou play?

Yeah, thought Ronaldinho would play. Barcelona was going to try and keep him out of it but AC Milan is OK with it I guess. Probably trying to get him to lose that beer belly.

Makaay is the over-aged player for Holland. He'll teach the young boys a few things about experienced finishing.

The games have started. I have some new Olympic channel that shows all the soccer games in HD.

Even though the clubs won the legal battle over the player rights for the games, Messi and Diego still appear to be playing. What the hell was the point of the clubs creating all this mess if they were going to let the players play anyways.

I am watching the Argentina vs Ivory Coast game right now. The first half has been very impressive so far. The fans are very into it and they have every right to be. Entertaining stuff at an incredible pace!
