Look, Kingnut, it's simple. I don't understand why you are insulting each other, but the fact remains that England didn't qualify because they simply were not good enough to qualify. It's a stone cold fact. So lay the discussion to rest.

Yeah if a team doesn't win enough to qualify for a major tournament, then they are not as good as the teams that they lost to....

When did I say it was ever a case of England should have qualified? England were plop in the qualifiers so didn't qualify, I know that. Read what I have said in the past, nothing states that I believe England deserved to qualify.

Beat Croatia for the first time ever? Nah, we smashed them 4-2 in Euro 2004, Rooney embarrassed them. You don't remember? Oh, you won't. You probably sit at home watching FSC occasionally and eat Cheetos or something. Americans need to calm their heads. If you ever read in depth articles by the English press or pundits they rarely get carried away. Just because you hear a lad call in on FSC saying that England are great doesn't mean it represents the feelings of the nation. I find it hilarious how people form the United States of America can talk any kind of crap on England.....I love jealousy....it's awesome.

i think that all we can really do is sit back and watch the qualifying unfold

it'll be intresting how England play after this; relaxed and have a tough time or, b) play like this the rest of the qualifying

First off my child I'm not American nor do I reside in the States. Secondly all I was saying is that Croatia have not been defeated at home before that game. If only you had read what I said carefully instead of getting your panties in a heap.  Secondly I don't know what FSC is and I don't read or give a damn about what English pundits and tabloids write don't I read that crap man. I was talking about what I have been hearing from some England fan boys.
 
Jealousy? hahahha what is there to be jealous of my friend? England failed to qualify to Euro-08 because Croatia embarrassed them at Wembly in front of their whole nation. Then you have the nerve to talk about Rooney ''embarrassing'' Croatia in 04? Let me ask you something what has Rooney done since Euro 04 it was a flash in the pan.  He scored about 2 goals in the Champions League and 2 goals in International football.    :lol:

As far as I'm concerned, the United States of America has won more trophies in the past 5 years than England :banana:

I don't think England has done anything of importance to where i'd be jealous of them. In fact, Honduras and England have both won the same amount of trophies internationally in the past 40 years! :lol:
