Favorite movies of 08
« on: Jul 05, 2008, 05:24: PM »
ok, here you can talk about your favorite movies so far in 2008 and mention who you went to see them with if you wanna

1.) i am legend, huge movie, loved it all the way thru, some people said it was boring cuz of the 1 hour of will smith, but i actually think thats what makes it great, it gives you a felling of actually being there with him, instead of if there where other people with him during the movie.
2.) Drillbit taylor, i loved the movie, very funny, and owen is one of my favorite coemdians, the ending ruled!
3.) Kings of the streets, it standed out from any other movie of its kind this year, it was one of those CLASS APPART flicks
4.) Wanted, kinda like a much better version of mission impossible, and besides, it had Angelina Jolie, so you can not go wrong!
5.) Hancock, just watched it today, it was the opening day here, and there was a line of like 500 people to buy tickets, never seen anything like that here since the Harry potter 5 movie, it was hilarious, and it has great FX

i went to see movies #1-2-5 with my girl and #3-4 with some friends

i would not reccommend the new indiana jones flick to anyone who has watched the other IJ movies, its a terrible movie, diddent like one part of it, im not a IJ fan, i watched the other movie on DVD in my house the day before going to the movies to watch the new one, just to understand what its about, the first movies where quite good, not my kind of movie, but good, but then the new one, it was just all over the place, the storiline is so messed up, that you really cant enjoy mutch of it.

the dark night (the new batman movie) looks SICK, i saw a trailer yesterday, and the jokers make up is amazing, it looks like a adult movie, and not a kids movie like the ones before it, all the tickets for the opening have been soled out here since almost 3 weeks ago :O

lol, kung fu panda, i dont really give those kind of movies a change, unless chris rock is in them, =)
i just dont really like jack black, he kinda gets on my nerves, the only movie i like of his is school of rock, but i think rambo was a great movie this year, i forgot to mention it cuz i kinda forgot it was this year that it premiered, (i have been very busy this year) it was a great movie, and there only one thing to say about Sly, HES STILL GOT IT! i love the young Sly for the rocky movies, but the old sly in the last rambo movie was my favorite rambo maby appart from the first, he killed it! literally, lol
