amazing match!
Well done Germany, i think we all knew they would win anyway because well they are Germany and major competitions are their thang.
This was an awesome quarter final, started off with a good pace and any team could of scored and Germany just dominated and scored 2 goals in like 4 minutes, was mad! The first goal was brilliant team play, the second goal was poor poor defending, and i think this is why portugal are out.
Anyway after these 2 goals i didnt think Portugal had it in them to comeback as strong as they did, Euros quarter final 2-0 down to Germany in the first half, not a good sign lol.
All credit to Portugal they made a match of it, the right back played really well (forgot his name) he had so much energy down the wing, i like forward to seeing him in the prem this season. Deco did great to create the first portugese goal.
Second half didnt dissapoint and i was really rooting for portugal, my sister had a massive strop and tried to put heroes on and switched the tv off and stormed out of the room and i nearly missed the 3rd german goal lol.
It was again poor defending a slight push from Ballack but what can you do? I was pretty pissed at this point because i thought the game would be dead and burried, but portugal came back again and kept attacking.
Nani came on and he was on fire within like a minute on the pitch he took it past like 4 players was awesome! He did great work to setup Postiga for that 2nd goal, lovely goal, lovely header.
Germany did well under the last attacks from portugal and won the game!
I really enjoyed this game, few things fucked me off though, the commentators going on about Scolari and Ronaldo and with the whole real madrid/chelsea thing. He wouldnt shut up about that.
And they kept filming the german coach in that box, which you could barely see because of the rain, so that annoyed me.
