dude there were over 100000 dutch people in bern during the match against france and not a single person was arrested or caused trouble. we got compliments from the switzerlands police

On a serious note, Cappelo seems to have figured out this little problem. I'm surprised it took 3 different managers before someone actually figured it out. Cappelo is now starting Hargreaves as a defensive mid which allows Lampard and Gerrard more freedom to attack. We'll see if it will make enough of an impact to win or come close to winning something.

hmm they have bad luck with gk..in the prem. league david james has been the best goalkeeper over last 2 seasons, was abs. quality last season! no need to say anything about terry ferninand a.cole as defenders and their qualities either!!

tbh they have great individuals, but theres no teamness there, i dont think u can play too many individuals in a team, cos it doesnt work.
lampard and gerrard has never worked for me.

To sum the topic question up, because English player's are cocky arrogant pricks who can't work on a team level, there's far too much ego far too little effort for a common cause. Capello will sort that out, he's not a softie when it comes to players fucking around.

England=Spain=England. They get one good result then think they've won the competition (like beating Russia 4-1, which was nothing short of flattering) and then putting in a dreadful display against Sweden, who were pathetic going forward (Ibra off near half time?wtf, no Kallstrom?wtf?). Lagerback is a 'safe' manager like many of england's. No risks taken, no tactics changed, no new blood used unless totally necessary but qualification and a dissapointing exit.

dude, we arrogant? we can't help it that many english players are not as good as they could have been if not 98% of the premier league was with people from abroad (such as dutch :P haha just kidding) and russia and croatia are not nothing as well. croatia came until the quarters and russia is still able to win the EC, so it may also come to the fact that england just had better opponents in their poule. when we have better opponents in our poule such as two of the best teams of the world in 2006 we just kick their ass in stead of complaining (okay that last sentence was arrogant but i couldnt resist)
