Juan Roman Riquelme has expresses his desire to play for Argentina in the 2008 Olympic Games to be held in China.
The former Barcelona and Villarreal midfielder is currently in pre-season training with boca.
"Right now I'm thinking about Boca and helping the national squad in the World Cup qualifiers. But I also want to be in the Olympic Games," Said Riquelme.
"I still don't know if I am going to travel to China as the boss hasn't decided yet. But that is the only thing I haven't competed in".
This will be a big bost for Argentina since most teams do not play there big players.
"I have been very lucky as I have played all the tournaments a footballer could play. I've only got the Olympic Games left. I have to train well to see if the coach picks me. I hope he calls me."
This will also be a bost for the Olympic games as fans will flock to see Riquelme.
With Riquelme in the squad does this spell success for Argentina, we will just have to wait and see.
