Hi there,
my name is giovanni, i am living in germany.
I am 21 yrs. old and it happened that in april 2k13 i will stop working for a year.
I will use this year to get on my yellow bike and see the world.
Since i always loved to play football (and i will might need s.o. to talk to from time to time) i will take my ball with me.
So, what does this have to do with you?Since i will get bored riding a bike the whole time and i'd like to meet people from every country to get in touch with the culture and so on it would be awesome if we freestyle/play football together.
So i am asking you to post here/leave me a message or alike in case you are interested.
Just tell me your city+country.
Depending on how many people will answer i might spend a thought on making this big. (blog, videos, whatever)
I would adapt my route to your location and pass by.
My starting route is following.
Munich (ger) - Scandinavia - Estonia - Latvia - Lithuania - Russia - Mongolia (?) - China -
(?) means that i am not sure yet if i will cross that country.
I will then proceed through asia (japan/south korea and so on)
In case i still have time + money i will go on to latin america and back to europe.
You might ask yourself some questions:
Why are you doing this?I was alone in vietnam for a month and had a balll. (crossed the country north - south)
Although i am fluent in german/english/italian and some spanish it wasn't easy to find english-speaking people.
Since i am s.o. who wants to live the place i go to i used the power of a ball and body language to get in touch with locals.
That's how i met lots of awesome people and had unbelievable fun!
Isn't it dangerous?crossing the street is always dangerous, but if you don't do it you will always wonder what might be on the other side.
I am excited to see how big the community is.
i will appreciate everyone who response/gives me advice or alike!
Here's a video of my currents skill level. As you can see i am a beginner in freestyle and even the moves i can do are not even close to clean, but that's just a matter of time.
I did martial arts tricking before what i stopped practicing after injuring my neck while doing a frontflip. Before that i did taekwondo.
I stopped playing football in a team at age 13, but i always loved and will love to play on the streets.
So long,
see you soon ;)
