It was easy to see whether he was offside or not. That's not the problem here. What's uncertain is the rule of whether the player out of bounds was involved in the play and whether the referees should consider him when making their offside decision.

the goal was not offside because the player outside the field still counted as a player for the offsiderule so fair goal by RvN. I hope the final will be holland-germany  :biggrin: (holland has never won with this big difference from italy)

The rules say it wasn't offside cause you can't go of the field just to put another player ofside and how do we know he fasn't faking his pain? He's Italian god damn.
