Here come the stupid yellow cards that ruin so many good tournament games. The limit should be increased so the quality of teams doesn't fall off. With referees being so inconsistent, you never know when you can get a yellow.
Anyways, great comeback by the Turks. I figured they'd have a pretty good tournament. I do feel bad for Cech though. Just before he made his mistake, I was praising him for being so consistent and being able to avoid silly mistakes. He proved me wrong at the worst time possible.
He was keeping the Czechs in the tournament, and then when it really mattered he let them down.
As far as the other game is concerned, I didn't watch it because it was on at the same time. The second team for Portugal looked good on paper but I guess that's about it. You would think they'd win but that didn't happen. Although some of Scolari's player choices seem shaddy, he seems to make the right decisions in the end.
