I have a feeling the Czechs are going to play similar to the way Greece played in 2004 and be successful with it. Cech is going to be the backbone and Ujfalusi will provide enough cover in the back.

Switzerland really deserved to win this game. It's a shame they got nothing out of it. On top of that, they lost their key player in Frei. Frei has been so damn injury prone! I really feel bad for the guy.

yes frei will be big loss, i dont see them having a chance now im afraid :(
czechs are lacking upfront
their strikers in fenin, baros, koller and sverkos dont cut it for me, and no does the 4-5-1 formation.
altho last time around they played poor in the 1st match against latvia and scraped a win, then went on to whoop other countries so hopefully they will do the same
the big game is turkey vs czech for me, thats the decider for who goes through

Deco, Ronaldo, and Quaresma for Portugal.

Ronaldo played beautifully and also got an assist!

Portugal look very strong.
Kiko Macheda - Within minutes, a Wikipedia article, a Manchester United profile and 17,000 Scousers shat their pants.

yes quaresma played, but personally i dont think portugal looked anything special.
its was a pretty even match, until ronaldos goal, and tbh ronaldo had hardly been seen til his goal

Turkey where all over the place for most parts of the first half because of the rain. Second they played very well got them selves back in it and won it at the death. Now they need to beat the Checs.
