That's pretty crazy.  It takes a special person to wanna do that.  I am not one of those people.  Would be cool to see and the technology will evolve by then. 

I wonder if they plan on staying inside those hubs the whole time or if they intend to move around and have access to the Rover and other vehicles to explore.

I would definatly go if I had the chance. YOu have a chance at making and becomming history.  However the only people that will be picked will probably be the absolute top in their area's of expertise (technology, bioengineering/research, astrology etc) or have any connection to the billion dollar coorporations funding this. Normal people wont get there firist part of the century.

Actually, the opposite. They aren't looking for anyone with any expertise. They are just taking volunteers.

There will be thousands of volunteers. Unless the tv guys have the power they will send qualified people. Why would you send a moron with an iq of 80 and no degree for something that important.

You have to pass the training which will probably weed out many of the morons, but it's open to all volunteers. I actually don't think everyone would be interested. Your quality of life in Mars just won't be near as good as on Earth now. You are sacrificing quite a bit for something that is pretty much an experiment.

Depends ofc who the other 3 are. If I was up there with Scarlett johanson, Mila Kunis and Miranda Kerr I wouldnt mind the sacrifice :p. WOuldnt feel the need to leave my pod often either :p.
