ACL Surgery on Jan 10
« on: Jan 06, 2013, 06:22: AM »
Got my ACL surgery coming up on Thursday.  It's my 3rd one. :(

I'll use this topic to answer any questions people may have.  I'll also post my progress on here in case it helps someone down the line.  I will also take whatever encouraging words and advice I can get while I go through my 6 month rehab.

Surgery at 7 AM tomorrow.  Got a 20% chance I will have to go into surgery again in 6 months if they can't take out the screw from my previous surgery correctly.  Keeping my fingers crossed all goes well... really don't want to wait 6 months for a second surgery, then 6 more months for rehab, let alone the extra $1,500 in costs. :(

"Matheson bases his descriptions of the death experience itself on studies by Elisabeth Kuebler-Ross and Raymond Moody.[6] When reading these accounts, Matheson found that revived suicides told a much more frightening story than anyone else who had near death experiences."

Thanks guys!

Surgery went well and I am not recovering.  Still on pain meds since the pain is still there.  I've been sleeping and watching TV for 5 days now.  Trying to use to laptop a little not but even then I'm falling asleep a lot due to the meds.

Got 6 months of rehab now before I can take part in sports again.  Let's just hope this is the last time I injure myself like this.
