PS3 40GB Or 80GB?

Hey guys i was just wondering if i should get a 40gb playstation3 or a 80gig playstation3 i have a playstation2 already and 80gb is 499$ when 40gb is 399$ but i dont know whats better deal?

so far all i know is that the 80gig is backwards compatible and has the SD slots. would be better if you still wanted to play your ps2 games and perhaps sell your ps2.

80GB can play ps2 games, so if your gonna be playin ur ps2 games get the 80gb ps3, otherwise just get the other one.

Over here in australia they dont sell the 80GB, and its like $400 more expensive, when they did sell it

chunck and jono are right if you want to play your ps2 games get the 80 gig if not get the 40 gig.

i got a 40 gig and its got plenty of space and i downloaded like 15 games. the only problem is it's not backward compatible.

you cant play ps2 games on the ps3. some original xbox games cant be played on the 360 yet but ive heard of them making updates in downloads or discs to make it possible. anyway if you bought the 80gig version you could sell your ps2 to make some money back.

I would say,Buy an 80 GB after like 3-4 months,Price will perhaps go down and 80 GB is annyways better.

do they still make 80gbs?  I don't see them anywhere.  my dad bought one but i can't find any except amazon where other people are selling them
