Mainly because certain freestylers have made it clear that they don't like Adi being the owner of the forum and that keeping the football portion of the forum is detrimental to freestyle. In order to rectify the problem you'll have to remove it.
Or maybe everyone is busy at the exact same time.
About the name, I don't think it's much better than beyondfootball. If it wasn't well known it would hardly suggest freestylers should come here for freestyle. Same with L2F, it's a branding name and as long as freestylers associate the name with freestyle, it doesn't matter.
The thing about the football and Adi does make sense. I personally don't have a problem with those guys not being here. I don't think we need close minded people like that. Also, there is a connection between football and freestyle. Denying it is just stupid. I'm also sure my activity pissed many of them off. I've always been one of the more pro football freestyler around.
I don't think the name matters that much. We have to name it something, and it needs to be a brand. We can't just name it generically freestyle football forum. Beyond Football is good, because it says the forum is beyond football which makes it a freestyle forum.
I think the biggest problem was when BF was crashing all the time. I remember a good period where it was almost impossible to log in. I think most people went away after that. Also, Facebook definitely hasn't helped. It's almost easier just to talk about freestyle on there. I know I've been added to these groups all the time on there. I'd rather do that on a forum.
