for htw's go to search bar and type learn2freestyle you'll find it in the chat section with over 200 replies to that topic in that thread on the 22 or 23rd page leha wrote an amazing long tutorial on increasing htw abillity and ways to train it... hope it helps
all credits to leha

yeah lol here it is:

HTW TUTORIAL
So, lets start with that:
Htw is basically not technically trick, but need much stamina, as it used
to be saying, but its right only with 2nd part (about stamina), but still
you have to have technical ability to perform htw properly. For pro-fsers,
as some of you like to call yourself, remember - dont think that you dont
need this tutorial because you reached 60htws-level bu yourself, trust me,
with this tutorial you would perform even 100 and more:)
So, the process of htw itself (for example, for left leg):
I. You should kick the ball up by your right foot in direction of your left
foot (On-diagonal from right to left) at distance of your foot from you.
You can do it 2 ways:
1)you can kick the ball up by your toes exactly (by vertical
movement), but it has advantages and disadv.:
"+" - better control over the ball, ball donesnt have any
spining so it will be easier to kick the ball up in the end of htw (by left
foot),
"-" - ball doesnt have any spinning, so you have less time
to perform htw; with this approach you wont be able to make fast move by
your weak foot to perform htw, because movement of right (first) leg is too
slow;
2)to cut/slide ball (sharp gorizontal movement)(the part of your
foot from almost your toes (some lower) to almost your ankle) (adv. and
disadv. are otherwise to each other comparing to 1)).
At first htw-trainings use exactly 2nd approach, only doing htw that way
you will make your movements faster (for htws) and get confidence about
your htws (from kicking up beginning htw to kicking it up ending htw). But
from juggling its too difficult to perform that cut/sliding, thats why its
better and more useful to learn it that method: ball into your hands, at
your girdle/belt (my great English doesnt let me to write my thoughts
exactly), let ball down and perform cut/slide. Why is it easier? Just
becauseits easier to make the ball spin if he has his own speed.
II. Movement around the ball (ALARM! Movement around has to be performed
like: leg at your body, then goes from you to front, then again back yo
tour body):
   1) Up your leg straight in front of you (vertically)(dont up your
leg too high, your hip should be at the middle of movement calling 'bend
you knee to 90 degrees' (just imagine this), the rest up-move of your leg
you must perform only with part lower your knee. Firstly, it will be seem
too difficult, because more natural and comfortable is to move your hip
straightly up, of you have to up all your leg, but its wrong for htw);
   2) when you already up rised your hip to level you need (was
described on p.1), begin to up a part of leg lower your knee doing (in same
time) revolution (with only this part of leg), so here you already start to
perform on-diagonal (right-up, here) movement;
   3) at 5/8 of revolution (some more 1/2 ) you have to cut circular
movement (on-diagonally, down-left), and the 'reason' of this movement
shouldnt be impulse from pert lower your knee, but should be from hip
(easier saying, you have to perform sharp movement by your hip on-
diagonally (down-left)), so the hip defines how fast you reach right height
for foot to perform ending of htw (kicking ball up) (exactly thats why it
was written that you shouldnt up your hip too high, just because too much
time you lose).
III. Kicking the ball up (ending).
   1) Starting from 5/8 htw-movement, remember, you shouldnt go with
your leg right to your ball, but should go with leg some lower than that
point,
   2) remembering that after 5/8 of movement your leg should go TO the
body, at 9/10 we should perform sharp movement to the forward (for what? -
for straight kicking ball up you should kick the ball up by shoe laces
area, to be exact - part some upper than that, of you wouldnt make that
sharp movement to the forward, the maximum you could make is - kicking the
ball up by your toes, so you simply wont have any distance to perform
kicking by a part some upper of your laces area; Why sharply? Only doint it
sharply you will be able to up your 2nd leg faster to do next htw);
   3) after kicking the ball up move your leg into basic place.

Basic advice on how to do more htws:
-its better to train htw on room (not outside), that you dont used
to run after the ball and perform htws standing in one place,
-never do hard jump on basic foot (on which you stand) while you up
your leg, otherwise you will lose all impulse and coordination,
-always coordinate your body - chest some forward, but the centre
of weight should be in your back, which has to be some behind,
-remember, htw doesnt need any speed to perform it, thats why doint
it with that approach, you always will have some store after making each
htw, thats why you should make some pause after each htw, otherwise you
will again lose coordinate,
-from the beginning you should train exactly how to save your htws
from dangerous situations, will be better if you have 15 htws in record and
can do 10 after 10 tries, than have 15 and do 7.

So, lets go back on how to learn htw. From the hands and by cutting/sliding
learn to do htw by each leg. Then perform 2 htws (from weak leg to strong;
other way dont try, wait for it), making it 2 ways: 1) from hands, 2) from
juggling. So, we learnt 2 htws (weak-strong). Then, we dont learnt 3 htws,
we learn htw from hands, but not how it was described earlier, but let the
ball down and do htw immediately (without 1st kicking ball up). It should
be done mormally - let the ball down -> make htw -> catch the ball in hands
(not in panic), and then again. Train it both legs. Then perform 2 htws
(weak-strong) doing the 1st htw from hands.
So, we have 2 htws (weak-strong), which we doing 3 dofferent
methods/begginings. Then, do 2 htws (strong-weak) (again with 3
approaches). Then train 3 htws from weak foot - it will be hard, because we
reach 'new level' of our htws. Then we made 3 htws from weak, we should
start practicing htws by one leg. What is it? Lets see it with left leg.
Kick the ball up by right foot, perform htw by left, left leg goes to
ground and perform htw again by left foot (in theory, it will be atw, but
technically - htw). You should make 2 htws (that way) by both legs. Then,
use methods which was described earlier - do it from different beggingins.
When we did that, we go back to 3 htws and do them from already strong
foot. And starting to learn 4 htws (from weak foot). Again, it will be
hard, 'new level' of htws. Then, you should perfrom 5, 6 htws, etc. But
remember, you will never get something in freestyle by training it
straightly (e.g., 10 htws by training only htws for record). So, when we
did 4 htws starting with weak foor, we should back to htws by one leg. Do 3
by both legs and start to mix them (s - strong, w - weak):
   -2htw(w)-htw(s),
   -htw(s)-2htw(w),
   -2htw(w)-2htw(s),
   -2htw(s)-2htw(w),
   -htw(s)-3htw(w),
   -htw(w)-3htw(s).
When you did all of them, you will perform 5 htw in a row easy.
Train  htws that way (training, when you gonna train htws hardly):
in the beginning of training do some attempts to standard htw
(consecutives), make 2/3 out of your record, then train all the rest (5
mins), then train htws by one leg and combos with them (described earlier),
train it hardly till last breath. Then return to other tricks (not htws and
not for records), and then do attempts on record, do 3/4 out of your
record, then 2/3 for 3 times, then again train other tricks for some time
(2-5 mins), then 2/3 of record for 1-2 times, and then 3/4 of record. Next
day dont train htw hardly - train other tricks/combos. Next day (3rd) train
htw again line in 1st. And on 5th day you are performing 10 htws without
any problems.

Than, basic advice on how to train htw when you have more than 10 in
record:
-train htws by one leg for more time, more - better (being able to
do 10 htws by each leg, you without any problems will be able to do 25
consecutives in a row, for example),
-end your training session with successful attempt on htw (minimum
- 2/3 of your record) (its recommended to do more than 2/3 of record for 3
times on one training (then you arent gonna train htws hardly on that
training) and more 10 (when you are gonna train hts hardly on that
training),
-never train htws hardly for more than 2 days on a row, or you will
get regress,
-train combos like htw-amatw-2htw-amatw-2hta-amatw etc, beginning
from both legs, you will get stamina for htws and smoothness,
-insert in your long combos, which is based on basic tricks (atw,
htw, hatw) more htws, than you used to insert,
!!!   -play in this game: juggle the ball, perform 1 htw by weak foot,
juggle, 1 htw by strong, juggle, 2 by weak, juggle, 2 by strong, etc, you
have 3 attempts for each number of htws, if you failed, start again from 1
htw. It will force you progress faster.

yeah thats right, like doin one htw strong, and then do 1 htw weak straightly followed by 2 others just like inside atws but with a little pause so its actually htw :) hard to explain, leha must have had a hard time doin this lol

It takes 2 hours per day and 2 week to achieve 20 htws, if you practice smart.

by practice smart, Leha means training htws like the way in his tutorial...

and lol VRK sorry if im helping too much
