A few questions!
« on: Oct 28, 2012, 05:56: AM »
Hey guys,

just decided to create a account in this forum because it's the first real freestyle soccer forum and i thought that you maybe could answer my questions! ;)

I play soccer since im a child and a few time ago i started to try freestyling...Today i mastered me first real combo (ATW+HTW) and i think i could say that i really enjoy freestyling atm!

So my first question: I used my old adidas shoes and a pretty old nike ball for freestyling the last time, but i read that most of you use Nike Elasticos, match balls and stuff like that...Would you recommend to buy other shoes and a other ball in my situation and is there a big difference?

My other question is: What was your first tricks/combos and with which specific move or combo should i continue?

Hope you guys can answer me! ;)

1. An old Nike ball as in the replicas I presume. No, you've just started out, the ball barely matter. Unless you're rich, don't buy it until you know you want to freestyle for a few years. The shoes on the other hand matter a bit more. If they're indoors you're good to go, it doesn't have to be fancy but you can't really freestyle with running shoes.

2. In terms of lowers? If you're training you should first get your atw, htw, hatw records up and learn to do a few cross overs. These will teach you the correct motion for other moves and your stamina will build up. It's important to make your atw, htw, hatw and co clean so when you develop, your freestyle won't look like shit.

I don't know what ball that is but if it's low price for you then buy it. Check if it stays pumped, ask to borrow it for a few days.

Matte Linder would disagree.

To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail.
It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.
You can't have creativity unless you leave behind the bounded, the fixed, all the rules.

Really?! I never really noticed. Well you can't compare a beginner to someone with like 6+ years experience in all forms of clothing including suits lol
