i know some people who did play online, just with the money they received at the start.
Basically it's a rip off, they give everybody better cards than you'd normally get statistically, so everbody keeps raising, and then they take a small percentage of the pot...
a guy told me in all the time he was playing, he had 2 aces for 12 times, and didn't win a single time... bad luck maybe, but more likely a rip off.

If there's 8 players in the hand and he has pocket aces pre flop and doesn't get rid of some of the players, he's likely to lose.
Especially since it would be highly unlikely to hit another ace since the players that are in the hand will probably have them in theirs. It also depends on the board. If it shows Q Q K, he should fold. Very likely that someone is holding a queen. He probably can't play very well. But 12 times and losing every single time doesn't sound plausible statistically, even against 4 other people in every hand. So he's lying or the site is a scam.

i don't think he played very bad, because with the $50 he recieved when starting he made $1'500, which he then lost again afterwards...

He ran hot and crashed. Only bad players claim sites to be rigged. And losing 12 aces in a row is statisticly impossible

You contradict yourself right there.

What I'm saying is that if you're running a poker site and you want the people betting a lot of money, just give them good cards.

I just wanted to give you advise, if you don't take it, fine.

And you think they dont monitor these sites? :p That a site as Pokerstars with millions of users can just do whatever they want? haha. Big sites arent rigged, people on them play bad and blame that to avoid seeing that they are losing players.

It's only a contradiction if it's true. Which he clearly doesn't believe.
Also good cards doesn't always mean you're going to win. K, J against 5 players in the pot is a hand you fold. A, K is a hand to be careful with. "Oh I have the top 2 cards, time to go all in"..Poker doesn't work like that. So even if you're being given good hands, you should still play cautiously.

Anyway, online poker is shit. Play it in person, that's the best poker you can play.

Online poker is probably the biggest scam in history, I have played for three years live and online, wont get into detail but the hands are stastically impossible, they use bots, rig the decks to keep losing players in and prevent you from making a huge profit. Sure you win some but you lose more, whats even worse is that they pay the pros to hush it all up and advertise their bullshit.

Hahaha, more conspiracy theorists. Ive played close to 2 mil hands online. Its not rigged, and if it is(its not)  its not rigged that badly that you will lose because of it. Winning players will win, losing players will lose.
