As I called, Gunther has to win. No way he was better than Andrew that round :p.

In a lowers battle he would have won that but all round, I thought Andrew did better than him.

Yeah Becs was very unfortunate. Soufianne/Dan could have gone the other way and mikolaj should have got 3rd. Apart from that decisions were pretty good I thought.

Sean v Gunther was a great battle too and nice to see the respect they showed each other afterwards.

Just finished watching it. I came into it with very low expectations. I was actually quite impressed. The stream was great quality. The set up was amazing. The freestylers were quite brilliant. Of course I didn't agree with every judging decision, but that's to be expected at any competition. Congrats to Tokura for winning.

The venue atmosphere and freestyle was amazing, 50% of the judging was crap, but tokura definetly deserved it, he is sick and original.

Why do you even post stuff like that? Saying no offense means nothing, because the only reason you would post that calling me out is to offend. If it didn't bother you, you wouldn't have said anything.

I think I am not alone with coming into it with low expectations. The stream last time was terrible. It was quite difficult to watch. If you don't remember, just look up the videos. The entire presentation was very good this year. I don't think anyone expected it to be quite that good.

I disagreed with every judge pretty much at different points during the competition. The only exception is Palle by his judging criteria, but that didn't always match who should have won the battle. The  judging overall was much better than previous RBSS competitions. Mr. Woo, Palle, and Touzani are all fine. The break dancer and Cannavaro definitely didn't really know what they were judging for me.

Also, the ball was terrible in the last competition, and it definitely effected the level of the competition. Anyone can tell that several freestylers would perform better if the ball was better. This year, it didn't seem to be quite as much of a factor. Maybe, it's just because they've practiced with it more, but they were much more consistent this year.

You cannot tell me that everyone loves RBSS, because it's not true. People talk badly about many things Red Bull has done with the competition, so I don't think my expectations were wrong. For the most part, Red Bull got it right this time at least as a presentation of freestyle.
