Rangers relegated to 3rd Division

What a shocker.  Due to bankruptcy, they were relegated to the 3rd division in Scotland.

A bit of a discrepancy on average attendance between them and other 3rd division teams.

i don't follow the Scottish league so this is all fresh news to me. I didn't know about their financial trouble hmmm this is sad.

Well, the Scottish League just did the impossible. It just became even more shit. I think it's time to make a million dollar bet on Celtic to win the Scottish Premier League. I'll probably make $10.

Hah, yeah terrible league for outsiders but those Scottish people are still crazy about it.  Won't be the same without the Celtics vs Rangers match though.  Those used to be followed by EVERYONE in the early 2000s.

I even watched those matches when I could. Problem there is American networks don't cover Scottish Prem even for that match. Overall, I think it's just terribly bad for Scottish football. This just give Celtic more reason to maybe jump ship to the English Premier League. We'll see what all happens. Should be quite interesting for the 3rd division teams playing in front of 40k fans. They'll probably out number the home fans at away matches too.

I'm Rangers fan since i watched games with my Grandpa(who is from the same area in Glasgow as the club) when i was super small!
It's crazy! viewing figures are going to drop, tv companies won't invest as much, the league will get poorer, the standard will drop even further!
The Rangers fans have to suffer for what the CheifFinancialOfficers and such did wrong! so sad, i really hope some of their quality players stay loyal to the cause and help us move back up
