International Boards on BF

OK, so we're thinking about adding international board to the forum so non-English speakers can participate.

With this in mind, what are the main languages/countries we want to focus on?

Here's what I think so far:

- Spanish / Portuguese (different but similar enough to put in same board)
- Italian
- French
- Chinese
- Polish
- Dutch

Any others?  Maybe German, but I think most Germans speak some level of English.  We gotta keep this in mind.

Yeah sounds good but i think everybody who speaks just speaks a little english should still join the normal forum, otherwise there could be less activity on the english boards

And we should probably try to promote that there are also international boards, if not, we might be having a hard time getting activity on those..

Yeah, I thought Russian, or is it kinda similar to polish??

Nothing against the Dutch language, but I think most Dutch people will speak more than enough English like the Germans. I'm not really sure how much good this will do for the overall forum. It could separate groups unintentionally.

Agree with reds, maybe a bit early for this since we have to get activity up first. If we don't it will just be a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
