staying hydrated with water helps me a lot.

Also, there are many good tips in this old thread here: http://www.beyondfootball.com/forum/freestyle-soccer-help-tutorials/improving-stamina/36/

Moving this to the Help and Tips forum.

- Warm up good.
- Stretch before and after freestyle.
- Cool down afterwards.
- Drink lots of water.
- Buy drinks or powder that's specifically for refueling your body.

Another thing no one else has mentioned. What types of pain? Is it just soreness? This really means alot. Hydration and eating correctly before training will help this. Also, you are just going to be sore sometimes after trainings. Your body will eventually become stronger, but it takes time.

I think the case with that thread and this guy is completely different. The thread you linked sounds like someone that is just very out of shape. He never once mentioned leg pains. Also, most of the advice was very poor and not thought out. He just needs to be more active and eat better.

In this guy's case, I actually think it's the development of his leg muscles that needs to be improved. This will come in time after training, eating and hydrating properly, and also resting to allow his legs to rebuild.

Training longer and/or harder will come with CONSISTENT training. Do a good warm up before the session, a good stretch after it and stay hydrated during the session.

After, for quicker recovery, you can do an ice bath (I do this mostly when I'm totally wrecked after a session and don't wanna be fucked up the day after) or contrast shower (alternate between hot and cold water).

one thing that i can tell you is that... eat bananas ... yea it may sound dope ... but whenever i take 3-4 mins of break between my sessions i eat 1 or 2 bananas and it really pumps me up... they are a great source of energy.... i hope it helps you.. and as everyone else said drink water and keep yourself hydrated....
one more thing run for 10-15 mins daily in the morning... it improves the overall stamina and strength of legs and be consistent at this if you are running 15 mins this week make sure you run 20 the next and keep on longing the time duration... it's gonna really help you with stamina problems... i don't do lowers... but it's gonna help you in long combos and to train for long time...
hope it helps  :)
