I think both teams are very strong, but I think Corinthians will have the advantage with the stronger defense. The away win against Santos was extremely impressive. They managed to shut down Neymar both games with the exception of the tap in goal in the 2nd leg.

Boca are extremely talented going forward, so I expect them to be favorites to win the game at La Bombanera. They need to win and win by a couple goals before they can afford any  comfort against Corinthians.

My prediction:  1st leg: Draw   2nd leg: Corinthians win

Congratulations to Corinthians for winning their 1st ever Copa Libertadores crown. They won the 2nd leg 2-0 thanks to 2 goals from Emerson.  Boca was a very strong side as usual, so credit to them for making the final.

Corinthians have their ticket to Japan to play in the WCC. Bring on Chelsea!!!
