I think Spain will win, but I'm sure its gonna be a close call!

Yeh it will be close. France on form can be very dangerous with Ribery, Nasri, Menez and Benzema.

I still have bad memories of France beating Spain at World Cup 2006, when Spain were favourites.

Voted Spain to be safe but my guts say France,  expecting really close game.

Early mistake for the 1st goal fucked it up for us. After that the game was fairly balanced. Neither team created that much for the rest of the 1st half. I actually felt France may have been the more positive team in the 2nd half. Spain looked to just pass the ball around. The one time they looked dangerous, stupid unnecessary challenge to give Spain a penalty and put the game to bed. He didn't need to make the challenge. Pedro was out wide and Lloris was closing him down. It would have been an extremely difficult finish.

I think the loss to Sweden is what really comes back to haunt France. They were easily the best team in that group, but fucked up against Sweden. France would have had a much better chance of beating Italy.

Yeh Spain just did it efficiently. Created only 3 chances but scored 2 goals.

I think France should not have played such a defensive line-up. That was their real problem in this match. You cannot sit back and watch Spain pass the ball. That is exactly what Spain want. Spain looked far too comfortable in defence.

I still think Spain need to play with a striker, or at least 1 speedy winger. To create more chances and stretch defences more.

France tried to play but just isn't as good as Spain.  Spain played without a striker again... that's the reason they might not win this year.  They have the ball a lot but are not creating much with it.  Hopefully Portugal can make them pay on a counter.  I don't think they'll score against Portugal playing this way.

Ribery and Benzema were lively but the rest of the squad did nothing offensively.

Samir Nasri curses at French journalist after France knocked out

According to 20minutes.fr and FourFourTwo, a journalist asked for Nasri's reaction to the loss, which Nasri at first refused, before storming back over to the reporter and saying, "You're always writing s*** stories about us." This is the exchange that followed:

Reporter: "Well get lost, then ..."
Nasri: "You tell me to get lost? Come and we'll sort it out over there. ..."
Reporter: "That's it ..."
Nasri: "F*** you, go f*** your mother, you son of a b****. F*** you, that way you can say I'm rude. "

Man, the match was not as equal as i expected...France didnt deserve it, so i think its fine, and Portugal's gonna beat the hell outta Spain in Semi's  spain
