Freestyle shoes
« on: Jun 07, 2012, 08:05: AM »
1) How many freestyle shoes have you had?
2) Which one was your first ever freestyle shoe?
3) Which one was your favourite shoe?

I had 6 shoes since i started freestyle 3 years ago:
Diadora (very old model) - My first shoe - Really nice shoe. It was very light with thin material so it gave great touch for lowers.
Adi-questras (2 pairs) - Good shoes, but not the best.
Adinova - Not bad, but heavy.
Lotto Torcida IV - My favourite shoe - Light and soft upper for great control. I miss it :bawling:
Nike elastico pro - I'm using this now and is good, but not as good as the Lotto Torcida and the Diadora
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

1st - nike total 90 II turfs - I got them in 2003 or 2004. i did my first atw with it. not that good of a shoe
2nd - puma turfs - i got them in 2005. I didn't really fs much with them but used them for street football. I realised they were the bomb back in 2010. I used them a lot for sits. best shoes for sits ever. they're completely worn out now.
3rd - umbro turfs - I don't know the name as I bought it in 2006. I think I hated the soles coz it wasn't really flexible. It had an ok touch. I got it mainly coz it was beautiful.
I would say these were my first shoes for actual fs (when I called myself a fser)
4th - puma turfs - again I don't remember the name. I bought it in 2007. It was very light and the touch was pretty good. the only problem was that it was a little bit narrow so I had to change my style a bit
5th - adidas f30.8 turfs - this is the shoe I used a lot for freestyle. got it in 2008. very heavy but I really practiced a lot with it so I got used to it. I bought them because tycza had the f10.8 I think and I saw the f30.8 and thought it would be better since it's a little more expensive and had the tongue cover  :embarrassed: I really should have bought the f10.8 coz they were lighter
6th - nike total 90 III indoors -  got it in 2009. 2nd most used shoe after adidas f30.8. I could get the moves that require fast revolutions way easier than the adidas f30.8 BUT they TOTALLY sucked for long combos... they made my style look bendy.
7th - jump heritage sneaks - got it 2 months ago I think. very light, very flexible, great for sits and "creative" moves, BUT had a STUPID large bump in the front which RUINED my lowers BIG TIME
8th - World Balance Move - It's a new cheap filipino brand of shoes. got it a month after the last one coz I was supposed to meet PWG but I couldn't fs with those jump heritage sneaks... again... very light, very flexible, great for sits and "creative" moves, BUT had a stupid small bump in the front which ruins my lowers quite a bit

here it is. looks fugly but I didn't have the time to fs coz PWG was coming soon so I needed one. I couldn't get the bigger brands coz there aren't much choices here in this city and if there were they'd be FCUKIN EXPENSIVE
look at the edge at the front. if only it were a little lower...  :bawling:

I have to say my favorite shoe I used would prolly be the f30.8s just coz I used them for 4 years
I NEED NEW SHOES FOR FS!!!!!  :021:

Nike air zoom controll 2: awesome shoes

nike air bomba pro: amazing shoes.

I go for more expensive shoes that actually last more than a year instead of buying tons :p.
I'm a beginner, help me!

Since I'm new to freestyling I've only had one par of freestyle shoes. Acually they're not even football shoes, they're more like street shoes, but they work great!
