i don't know if i've ever seen someone killed in real life, in terms of a video of someone actually being killed, and the nature and reasons behind this, i can't take it

i can't believe that any reasonable person would believe this to be good
i don't think i will be religious, but rather ensure that, when i have children, make sure they have the sense to make good moral judgements and think for themselves and not listen to what some religion says
i think so many problems in the world today have spread from religion, and furthermore a lack of morality (spread of islam in europe, financial crisis, slaughter of israelis by hammas(don't know if thats the right spelling or not) terrorists, death of many arabs in west bank/ palestine by israel government, spread of aids in africa)

Yes, I went to Prague.

The video was definitely graphic, but not the worst thing I've seen. After seeing someone get run over by a car in person, I'm almost immune to violence just on video.

Religion is something that gives people understanding of hwy they are here. Many people that have trouble in their lives will use religion to bring them happiness that their lives not. It's also a cultural thing for many societies. Everyone follows the religion and everyone they know follows the religion.

I'd say 90% of the time you end up religious if your parents are religious.  You get raised a certain way and that's how it goes.

Nonetheless, the internet is starting to change that.  You can see yourself, Damiano.  I don't know if your parents are religious, but it seems you're finding your own opinion in big part of what you see online.  It's not always good to base your opinion on what you see online, but on the other hand, you do get a lot of information.  If you're smart and you research things, you can come up with your own opinions rather than simply adopting what your parents tell you.

I'm not sure what's better since parents always mean the best for their kids, but sometimes it's good to get your own opinion by seeing things from another angle.

it only becomes dangerous in certain situations, often it just has a kind of numbing affect on the masses, which if it works for some people, and they dont impose it, is fine i guess
