I support Liverpool no matter how they play football. Obviously, I'd prefer they play more attractive football, but I'm worried about them winning. Liverpool actually do have a tradition of playing very attractive football, and I've been a fan of them for over 10yrs.
I do not support Chelsea, because I've never supported Chelsea. I don't like Bayern, Barca, or Real much either, so the CL this year was pretty much neutral. I than supported the teams that I preferred watching based on the football they played. Chelsea played a barbaric defensive style of football, so I wanted them to win least of all. Credit to them for winning the CL, but they aren't the best team in Europe. They finished 6th in England for a reason. Barca isn't either. Real Madrid are definitely the best team. I can't see anyone disagreeing. They set a points record in La Liga this year. Losing on penalties to Bayern was a bit of a shock, but that happens. It's a KO tournament. The best team isn't necessarily always the winner.
Brazil should win everything? Well, I agree they produce the most talented footballers of any country, but you could currently say the same about Spain. Look at who is on their team. Shouldn't they win everything? In club football many people would think that of Barcelona or Real Madrid. Really, one of them should have won the CL. For me, hands down the top 2 European teams. The fact is that is part of the beauty of football. You have to win on the pitch. It's possible for upsets to happen on the greatest degrees.
