Any predictions for Spain vs Italy?

I think Spain will win 2-0.

Italy can definitely score 1 or 2 from set-pieces, especially because Spain are not good at defending set-pieces. Hopefully, Spain take their chances, without Villa.

Prediction: Spain 2-1 Italy

Spain are playing with the weirdest lineup i've ever seen    2 defensive midfielders, 4 attacking midfielders. 0 wingers, 0 strikers, no pace, no power.

I never thought i would say this, but i hope he brings on Torres.

It's not too much different than the typical Barcelona line up. Their style of play isn't about pace and power like you mentioned. It's about being patient and passing the ball. Looking for off ball movement to get behind the defense. I do agree having a genuine striker would probably help. Hopefully, they'll bring on Torres or Llorente soon.

Ireland keeps shooting themselves in the foot. Super early in the game they leave someone unmarked for a headed goal than the defender shanks a clearance right to Jevalic. I thought it was offsides at first, but good call by the officials by noticing it went off the Irish player.

Spain and Italy 1-1 is a fair result i think. Credit to Italy for defending well and counter-atacking well. They created 4 good chances and scored one.

I think Spain created 3 chances though and scored one. Spain are capable of very amazing stuff so hopefully they turn on the style soon. They must improve.

Can't believe Italy actually went out and played real football against Spain.  Not many sides do that, so credit to Italy.  Very well played and well deserved point.

Spain on the other hand was disappointing.  Reminds me of their World Cup loss to Switzerland. After the first game, they won the rest.  Could happen again.  Spain does need a striker however.  Villa was perfect for them before since he was a mix of a forward and attacking mid.

Torres created chances but couldn't finish... typical.

Next game, Spain must play with a striker... otherwise they'll end up like Holland... dominating play but not winning.

Croatia won 3-1 which was great to see.  Hope Croatia finds a way out of this group.  Wish our Croatian guys would come in here and post a little.  I know they're watching... even the freestylers must be.
