EURO 2012
« on: May 10, 2012, 03:33: AM »
Predictions?  Tournament is only a little over a month away.

I still thing Germany and Spain are the big favorites.  I wouldn't be surprised if France caused some upsets and got to the semi final.

Poland is my dark horse for this one.

I'm excited. Even the group stage has many epic matches :Woot_Emoticon: I want Spain to win but i'm worried by their recent poor form and injuries.

But i still think they will win
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

russia has an easy group
i think it will qualify from the first place (unless they go to a nightclub and get wasted with teenage hookers like they did before the deciding game against slovenia in 2010  ) czech republic will come second most likely, even though personally i would like to see poland finsih 2nd (they have some cool players: lewandowski, blaszczykowski, obraniak)

i think russia can make it to the semis again - i hope so haha, they always seem to lack motivation, lazy bastards
a lot of those guys who were playing in premier league went back (arshavin on a loan, pavlyuchenko, and billyaletdinov - btw today i read he is not even going to be a part of euro team - sucks for him - should have stayed in everton imo)

i agree with adi: spain and germany have the biggest chances of winning it
i am wondering how england will be playing without capello

People are really not expecting anything from Poland despite playing at home. I can understand giving Russia the edge, but the Czechs?! :017:

Great comment. I've thought that myself. Great individual players from front to back but always playing poor team football. Special group of individuals though.
