This is rap, right?
Tear It Up - Hollywood Undead + Lyrics On Screen!

I'm loving this song despite the words lyrics having little to no meaning at all.

This is from a talented dude from my town's new mixtape, VICES, he actually taught Drake how to rap a few years ago. That's a baggie in his nose. #VICES bitches! Get em today, spread the word. Check out his other songs on YouTube and his rap battles when he slayed 106 & Park a few years ago, IMO the most underrated guy in the game. He's doing it all himself nowadays like a G.

+ there's a FIFA reference, catch it if you can.

VICES is pretty good, but I'm not a fan of loud, aggressive sounding rappers.  Just personal preference, no diss against him.  Drake sounds good in the opening verse... good lyrics too for him.  Love this line by VICES: "grandma got alzheimer's but she'll remember this."

Lyrical Exorcist - I can appreciate his good raps, but I need more than that.  The beats are so plan and boring to me.  I understand some people are really into the raps and not about the beat or overall sound of the song.  A good rapper to me gives me something lyrically, but he can also create a catchy chorus and a sick beat.  Kendrick Lamar is a great example.  Different sound, solid lyrics, good chorus, and overall brilliant album he put out.  I think the reason a lot of these brilliant lyricists are so underground is because they miss that point.  They don't know how to make commercial music.

Hopsin - he will make it.  Good track you posted.  Nice, commercial beat and good raps.

If people haven't checked out Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore, give them a listen.

Bob Dylan > Every rap lyricist

I do like some hip-hop, just not one of my favorite genres. I'll post something on here in a bit.

Most of the hip-hop I like combines aspects of other genres. I do like some straight hip-hop, but I prefer hearing other sounds as well.

Not actually a big Tupac fan, but this  song is quite nice.
