i'm not using l2f forum, and i visit this forum a lot to watch new vids, but i almost don't leave comments anymore. for me, the level of videos is so high i cannot leave comments worthful for the video. Maybe comments like "wow thats awesome" may motivate, but barely anyone knows me so it's not that supportive than getting the same comment from someone with a high level of freestyle.

I think you make a good point.  I think a lot of people don't feel like posting on video topics... it's gets a bit repetative when you say "that's awesome" on every other video.

We might need to create a new "like" system which shows off the average rating... 98% liked or something like that.

The problem comes from the lack of good topics that create conversations.  Videos are hard to post a lot about... we need real topics that create a good conversation.

Freestyle is a bit tough when it comes to this since so much of it is personal preferance.  With major sports, it's easy to talk about tactics teams, players, upcoming games, transfers, etc. but it 's difficult with freestyle.

Either that, or we're just lacking the button-pushers who confront everyone...

I can't pull up the L2F forum... what link are you using?

There really is no point in having two forums.  All it does is split the people.  It's not like either forum offers anything that different from the other.

It's best to merge the two but that probably won't happen.

On Learn2freestyle website I click the button at the top that says 'click to view the forum'
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

Well I am do feel a bit guilty here, thanks for the nice words Adi.

First of all I loved BF, look I have thousands of posts here but I just thought that this forum didn't do enough to keep people posting here instead of other places like Facebook. There was a number of things that I felt this forum was lacking and one thing was competition. So I thought why not make my own forum? I have a successful youtube and facebook page and could get a few members instantly and get the ball rolling.

The whole point was to give this place friendly competition and hopefully you would up your game and we would have two thriving forums so I wasn't expecting this topic at all. A few years ago BF was top of the pile when there was many other places to visit like NAS, FDU, SSD etc and I was trying to bring back a choice to freestylers (not a definitive choice just options) and further awareness of freestyle on the web away from facebook and youtube.

So as you can you see the point of my forum wasn't to run this place into the ground and steal your members, infact half of the members on the l2f forum rarely posted here.

So yeah I just thought I would come and say that, I am genuinely shocked that you are thinking about letting me have control of this site. If you want you can message me on facebook and maybe we can set up a deal.

Cheers guys hope there is no ill feelings towards me and ofcourse you're all welcome to come and have a look at my forum aswell :)

I think that one of the reasons is that BF was down few times, the posts from January were deleted.

i'm not using l2f forum, and i visit this forum a lot to watch new vids, but i almost don't leave comments anymore. for me, the level of videos is so high i cannot leave comments worthful for the video. Maybe comments like "wow thats awesome" may motivate, but barely anyone knows me so it's not that supportive than getting the same comment from someone with a high level of freestyle.

I'd rather get a comment from you than from FX to be honest.

And out of curiousity, can you remember a video from me freestyling?

He's referring to FX's comment on TF and Ethans' video
