I desperately need help with autograph identification on a Manchester United soccer jersey. I may have been screwed over by the team itself!
First of all, I can't really call myself a soccer fan, nor am I familiar with soccer players or their autographs. However, I AM familiar with getting autographs from NBA players and the nuances of what makes a high grade autograph.
Please click on the links below for pictures of the jersey I'm referring to. I got the jersey directly from Manchester United Football Club at a charity event. The jersey came with the authentication card pictured. From what I can tell, the autographs on the jersey do not match up with the players listed on the card. When I got the jersey, I had no reason to doubt the authenticity because it came directly from MUFC.
I got the jersey for a good friend of mine who is getting married in May, and he's a HUGE soccer fan. His favorite team is Manchester United, and his favorite players are Rooney, Giggs, and JS Park. I tried identifying their autographs on the jersey but can only find Rooney's. I don't see Giggs' or Park's on there anywhere. I did extensive research on their autographs, as well as other Manchester United player autographs, and I even found autographs of players that aren't listed on the card. So I'm thinking I may have been screwed over by the team... the jersey cost $800 USD!!!
I need help verifying the autographs on the jersey. Can anyone please tell me whether Giggs or Park maybe put a short-hand autograph on here somewhere? I really think I got screwed. Please help! Thanks!!
