man utd's defence still looks weak without vidic, who is out injured for the rest of season. No vidic no glory i say. While man city are getting kompany and lescott back from injury very soon.

yes manutd have an easier fixture schedule but man city will get the job done. Don't go celebrating yet. There is still only one point between the 2 teams.

City need new strikers next year though. Dzeko and balotelli are horrible :043:

Dzeko and Balotelli are terrible?

You know something is wrong with City and their manager when they don't know how to use their world-class strikers properly.

Dzeko and Balotelli are terrible?

ok they are not terrible. But they have been in terrible form. Dzeko' first touch has been shit for about 4 or 5 months now :043:

Balotelli is not bad but i think he is overrated

Mancini is a crap manager.

A friend of mine who knows quite a bit about the game (kingnut) says Mancini is a really good manager.  He was raving about him when City was doing well earlier this year.  He said he knew all along that Mancini was top class.

I wonder if he still thinks that, or if we're missing something.  I don't see what the big deal is about him.  His tactics are sometimes way too conservative and he's terrible at managing him players.  He says he goes 2 days without talking to Balotelli usually... how does he manage that?

Is he really top class? A top class manager can win with the assets that he has in front of him, such as David Moyes. A top class manager needs to lead by example, and Mancini is no leader. Saying things like, "Tevez will never play for this club again" and that Balotelli will probably be sold isn't doing good for the club. So what happens when a club see Tevez, the face of City, (well, on the banner anyway) go on a 5 month holiday and get no real punishment? Sure you can slap fines on him but he's making loads of money so what does that do? Wouldn't your squad get a little bit pissed off? I'm surprised Balotelli hasn't gone on vacation yet.. or maybe he has, he's been awful.

The fact is, when Mancini got asked about the title race, he said he needs to buy more players. That's already 300 million gone!?! What else could you possibly need? Maybe Mancini gets compared to SAF too much because they're the top 2 currently, but Mancini isn't top class. SAF uses his assets wisely, Mancini blows it all...

City fans (all of a sudden) are spoiled. Dzeko goes missing and now they want him sold.. Are you kidding?

Totally agree with you.  Never liked him because of his tactics and general lack of responsibility.  Like you said, he still moans about not having enough talent.  What a joke.

Thank you.

I can't begin to describe how many times I've heard, "Imagine if SAF had City's assets."

Explains it all, really.

David Silva was by far the best player in the league in the first half of the season. Now he is very off-form. This is the main reason for City's failure. He is tired because he is not accustomed to the high tempo English game.

But yes the shitty tactics of Mancini is a problem too. Balotelli on the left?!! Aguero on the right?!! :wtf:

Mancity are not bad though. A lot of credit has to go to Manutd players and manager, especially Scholes and Valencia. Mancity had a tough group in UCL too, so hard to judge them there.

Man City is not even playin in Europe anymore and they are still playing like shit.

I can understanding being tired if you play in Europe, the Cup, and league but they only have to worry about one competition. They shouldn't be tired especially with the deep team they have. Barca is never tired and they play in every tournament.

2 points as of now with a game in hand. Should be a great run in. If we win the next 3 games, we're gonna win the title.
