same. i dont know what it is. with mine, it turns off, and i cant switch it back on straight away or it comes on then dies. i wait 30 seconds or so and its fine.

i think its to do with some part of my lappy being overworked, whether its the ventilation, or C drive or something i dont know. I think its linked o performance, because it happens a load when i try doing big jobs like rendering my hours of speed paiting recording. now that might be to do with c drive space, but tbh i still have about 20gb left and the file isnt massive. so i think basically the commit charge or something gets too high. i dunno how to stop this, i just try rendering it in smaller chunks.

as for cleaning your C drive, you can defrag it by going to start, all programmes, accessories, system tools, disk defrag. what that does is, imagine a c drive, reading like a cd. it spins to one thing, spins back to another, spins to yet another etc constantly. disk defrag takes all the spaces and reorganises it so the distance it spins isnt as much.

in addition, manually do some tidying. go to my computer, and right click on c drive, and go to properties. itll tell you the amount of space used. now go into c drive, documents and settings, *your name*, then repeat, right clcking and checking space used on my documents and desktop. just work ur way down through those folders, youre looking for big amounts of file space being used., and where u find it, manually search through for big files.

you can right click on the white space in any folder, and go to arrange by, size, if that helps.

Same, and it's whenever I watch streams of United games.  :dontknow:

Or my Internet Explorer would just randomly closed.

I agree that it's linked with the Commit Charge..

edit ur windows registry... but u must know what u don't need there, otherwise, ur system will crash... but it's the msot effective method... + yep, defrag drive, clean temporary files, and files which your browser saves, edit windows startup (it's very hard for system to load 58545 programs at the startup)... and 1 more tip: keep ur system block not in warm places...

Yeah try defragging ur comp, it should be done regulary at least once every 2 weeks.

Or system restore

system restore keeps all files programmes and folders and only resets settings... so you wouldnt save much space, if any..

Search for stuff on your computer which you have nu use for and delete it. Also clear the dustbin after that.
