I haven't asked for anything for Christmas the past 2 years, I guess when you get to a certain age you want to buy stuff yourself rather than ask your parents for it.

It's better to hint parents on what you need than to let them buy you total nonsense... Because they will buy you something anyway if you're spending your Christmas with them... At least at our home.

My parents always give me either money, or give me something I like.
I buy presents for my parents. If I have more money, I buy them more expensive gift, if I have less money, I buy them not so expensive gift. It's the least I can do for them.

Don't be silly man, the question was what do you want for Christmas? And when I thought about I realised it's more about the giving than recieving now for me. That's all, I never 'put people down for being immature', that was you trying to start a fight and taking it the wrong way. Chill your bean.
