This is the problem with Brazilian youngsters nowadays.  Their clubs want 30-40 million for a player, when they used to go for 1-3 million in the past.  It's not worth the risk anymore.

It is hard to put a price on neymar because he is unproven at the highest level and played shit in copa america, which was the only high level test for him so far. But at the same time he is somehow already famous and has great marketability.......maybe its his hairstyle

Real bought him, and IF they did now they did it  for his potential. Real sees much in him, and Santos realized it too, so they wanted real money for him. And if Real gives him that salary, it keeps him in the team for long time, because many others don't want to pay him that much. And once you get paid so much, you don't want pay cuts anymore...

It is likely that neymar will be on the bench. Mourinho is willing to bench a 53 million pound player.......look at kaka

Trust me, i watch madrid play very often and di maria does not deserve to be benched. His defensive work ethic, brilliant passing and dribbling is invaluable. I do not know if neymar can play in any other position so he has to compete with di maria for a starting spot.
