The concert was unbelievable! It was my first real concert and I can confidently say that I will never see anything like it again. That is unless I go to another Kanye show.
Lupe Fiasco opened up and put on a sick show. His opening song was The Coolest and it was remixed by Justice. Apparently they are remixing his latest album. I bet it's gonna be real good especially after hearing that first song.
N.E.R.D came up next and adding some new flavor to the whole thing. Their rock/rap feel was unique and they were really into it. Pharrel is a crazy mofo with his crazy dancing. He went down to the fans and walked right by me. I was about to grab him but the bouncers were gonna kill me had I touched him.
And Kanye... he left me speechless. I didn't want the show to end. He truly is a great performer and deserves all the credit he gets.
Here are some picture of where we were. We sat 9 rows from the stage. The seats were amazing. I have also attached two videos of the concert. These are not my videos but the show was the same. Take those video and put me in the 9th row and you'd get a good idea of what it was like.
Kanye had a nice little story to the whole thing. He went up to space in his spaceship and crashed. His performance of Hey Mama was touching as well considering what he had to go through with his mom's death. He remixed it a bit and added a new feel to the song with his mom's death - "Last night I saw you in my dreams, Now I can't wait to go to sleep..."
