Anyone here could give me a list of some cool songs even if it is grime too, oldskool or w/e.

Lupe's new track over the song from the Drive move (80s track) - originally track is awersome, but the Lupe rap is nice.

Tupac has posted in the Hip Hop thread... how interesting.

Too bad the comment was aweful.

Before I get into an arguement, do tell me what rappers you like and the reasons you like them.

Before I get into an arguement, do tell me what rappers you like and the reasons you like them.

Tupac: - Obviously by my name haha, because he raps about things that are relevant to his and many others lives. His rap wasn't about trying to be a thug, his rap was about him being a thug and trying to get out of it. He sang about struggling and doing what he had to do to get through. He also maintains a consistent flow - was never autotuned - He puts MASSIVE amounts of emotion into his music. He was real. He made one of the biggest impacts on rap industry. He had good melody, lyrics, clear original ideas, etc. Look at any of his lyrics and there's always some deep underlying message that pertains to struggling or trying to get to a better place. He was also a poet, I have a book with all his pieces in it.

Eminem: Was good in the beginning, sorta lost his charsima over time. Good for the same reasons Tupac was good, had a lot of emotion in his songs, was real, represented a struggling person doing what they have to do in order to attain a better life. Not autotuned.

Drake: Autotuned to hell, raps about absolutely nothing. I don't even think you can call it "rap" because he has NO flow. I don't care what anyone says, I think in order to rap you have to have some type of flow to your music. Literally I can talk faster than he raps. He reminds me of a poser. He's like a rich kid that's trying to impress thugs. He has some good metaphores in his songs like "we walk the same path but got on different shoes" - but since he says it soooooooo slow it loses it's punch, and the amount of shitty ones make the good ones look like crap.

The absolute main reason I hate him is because he has ABSOLUTELY NO FLOW. I can't stand that. It bothers me to know end. I really think anyone can make his music because he is AUTOTUNED. I'm positive I can write a shitty song with absolutely no rhyme scheme too and as long as someones autotunes me it'll sound "good." I think I might be living in the 90's when rap was good, I don't think I'll ever adjust to this new age of rap music.

BONER!
