I think it's not fair to pinpoint best player like that. Messi for sure is best at what he does, but there is game-making,defending,attacking and goalkeeping in football. I think every category should have their own best.

 :iagree: yeh true......and defenders and goalkeepers never get as much recognition. Sad really. Vidic is definitely one of the best at what he does. If i had to play against him i would be just as terrified as if i had to play vs messi :17:
