Mainstream Freestyle

Do you want freestyle to become a mainstream sport? or to remain like it is now, with a small community but nice big international comps like RBSS and WFFC(f3) -  maybe it could reach the level of footbag which has many big international competitions and is very popular.

FS will most definitely continue growing, but I doubt it will ever actually become mainstream.

It will never become mainstream, and what I mean by mainstream is reporters writing about it everyday and it being on tv every week. However I think it has the potential to become a lot bigger than it already is and I am happy with the way it is progressing.

One positive is that on average the age of freestylers is getting higher. It used to be that most freestylers dropped off after 17 or so, now you see more older freestylers sticking around. I think getting gigs helps since money and responsibility makes a difference as you get older. As long as people stick around, freestyle will grow. It's hard to keep growing if you lose freestylers every 4 years and have to replace them with new ones. Gotta keep the freestyle span for each freestyler growing.
