Get to know the different levels and see what you can do and compare. Simple.

-Don't break combos.
-Don't use crossovers to save combos.
-If you're a new freestyler looking to improve, check the stickys in the help and advice section.
-Send me a personal message if you see spam.

from what i have seen recently i think beginner fsers in lowers competitions can do:
- basic nt combos like amatw-amatw nt, tatw-matw nt etc
- combos like lmatw combo, batw combo, new shit combo etc

but it depends on your variety as well. Like if u can do almatw combo but you have a shitty weak foot, no nt combos and no variety then u can still be beginner.

intermediate fsers can do:
- nt combos like tatw-amatw-amatw nt, lmatw-matw nt etc
- combos like bltatw combo, mgmatw combo, almatw combo etc

again lack of varieety and weak foot play a part so if u can do smth like skatw but are shitty at everyhing else then u are intermediate

Deciding intermediate and beginner in allround comps is much harder though but variety plays a big role in deciding, from what ive seen......and average fs level increases regularly so it may change again soon :victory:

What level is Sean and Kamalio at?

i think both Sean and Kamalio, in allround competition, would be advanced.

In lowers though i think Sean is beginner. From i have seen he can do basic nt combos like amatw-matw nt and atws but that is beginner nowadays. Kamalio is probably intermediate in lowers. I don't know if he ever showed his true level in lowers but from what i have seen he can do basic nt combos and really long combos. But kamalio is kinda in between :017: because he is too good for beginner but barely an intermediate in lowers.

Many people, as shown above, define lowers as just atw's, htw's,amatw's,tatw's,j9gjrnlwnlskatw's etc. This is a wrong assumption in my eyes. I would say that the category lowers contains partly airmoves (atw's etc), and i agree that is the most common one, but also other styles like blocking for example.

which is by far not as hard as airmoves so it doesnt play a big role when you ask somebody about his level.

Its incredible how freestyle has changed in the past few years.... when i began you were like pro when you could do amatw amatw nt...

Well, it seriously depends on how you define "level". Some people show very little in their video for example. In fact, they only show combos they can do 100% in videos. Does that consistency play a part in level determining? Also different people does different stuff. Yoshi for example, almost never show a great "conventional lower" (ATWs and the like) combo. But his high level in freestyle is unquestionable.
