Than people would start rating people they likes threads highly or make multiple accounts to rate there own threads. I know your thinking who would do that. But some one always ends up doing some slick shit like that. Also I think no more than 3 people or something can rate threads. And that we all must agree on criteria for 1,2,3,4,5 star threads.

ok good point melbourne. I concede. Lets say 1: pointless spam, 2: not really worth reading, 3: decent, but nothing particularly interesting, 4: will generate good conversation, is funny, or interesting, 5: Excellent, intriguing, or hilarious. It should be an enduring thread.

Thats interesting. But its not exactly what I had in mind. No need to give spam or ordinary threads a rating. I was thinking only very good threads get stars and to get 1 being a good thread and 5 being absolute classic. Would be great if we can get the ball rolling with a nice discussion about it. Whether majority of posters agree on how it should be done. Than see if Adi can do it. I don't know all of the sudden I'm in the mood for color fonts

Nice idea melbourne. I know there's a mod to let everyone rate threads, but I don't know about specific people. I'll look into it. I can probably find a way around it with permissions.

YES! I thought I was the only one. Sometimes it says SMF error or something related to SMF.

But yeah, it's super slow, I can't load any pages sometimes.
